This month I sent a Graphic Novel manuscript to my agent! Actually it’s a Middle Grade Graphic Historical Fiction Novella if we’re being accurate. I have been circling this idea for awhile but something clicked for me this fall and the manuscript was fun to put together. It’s strange how writing is like that. Sludge through muck for years then make something sparkly in a couple of weeks. Back to the sludge. Repeat.
I stumbled on this template guide to scripting a graphic novel from writer Victoria Ying which was suuuper helpful. I liked the ‘Mixed Screenplay Format’ best. Let’s hope publishers do, too!
